CELEBRITY CHEF
The gold medalist chef to three former Indian presidents and former
Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi is none other than our executive
chef Panna Lal Sharma, affectionately known as Pandit Ji. The art of
culinary reflects in his passion for cooking. Pandit Ji says "The
food should leave a customer craving for more even after she is full
and the joy of satisfaction should reflect on the face".
Pandit Ji's exuberant confidence comes from his time served at many
distinguished kitchens around the world. From Centaur Hotel
to Hotel Singapore Hyatt, from Singapore to Hotel Hyatt Rama in
Bangkok, Panna Lal Sharma represents the best face of Indian
Cuisine. In 1980, he was awarded a gold medal for his outstanding
contribution to Asia Food Competition organized by the ITDC in
Singapore (1978) and also won gold plate for his contribution to
Singapore Food Festival.
Panna Lal Sharma will lead the chef's team at Temptations kitchen.
With him in the team, we have his son, Rajesh Sharma, who earned the
name "Kebab King" in the Indian food circle and attained distinction
by serving as head chef at Le Meridian in New Delhi, India) and
World Trade Center Restaurant in Dubai.
